Working in small batches, Steep+Brew takes raw, green coffee beans and roasts them using an individualized process that provides more oversight and control. The heat from the roasting process releases the bean’s flavor, turning it from a raw green to a rich light or dark brown, depending on the amount of heat and length of the roast. 

Lighter roasted beans, like those used in Blueberry Crumble Coffee, are only subjected to the heating process for a short time. This lighter roast provides a smoother-tasting cup of coffee and retains more caffeine than beans that undergo a longer roasting process. During roasting, flavored coffee beans also undergo an additional step that infuses natural syrups and flavors into the bean.
