This is probably the best I’ve had at home in a long time, along with Scenic River Italian Roast I get from Buehlers grocery store in Medina(River Styx). Rich & bold, and of course fresh. Coffee doesn’t take long to lose flavor. My favorite of all time I can’t seem to find anymore. That was Caruso’s own Italian Blend(or was it Dark Italian Blend). I used to buy it from a tiny coffee shop in Litchfield 15 years ago or so. Absolutely the bomb. Yet to find anything I like completely as much but this gets close. Perhaps it’s my taste buds slipping now that I’m in my 50s but that coffee was the holy grail for me. I will buy North Coast 216 Blend again. That was my area code growing up btw.

It is very good dark roast
We love this blend. Smooth, never bitter and of course very drinkable.
We enjoyed this North Coast 216 by the pot and to make espresso. Our favorite coffee has been Columbian Supremo City Roast. I would consider switching our coffee to this flavorful 216 blend, but it appears the only option for purchasing is 12 oz bags at $9.99 per bag, which equates to $13.30 per pound. If Caruso's had two pound or five pound bags at a more reasonable price per pound, I would be likely to order some more. We currently order five pound bags of Columbian Supremo for $8.65 per pound in 5 pound bags from another supplier. But this 216 blend is an excellent dark roast coffee.
